  Customer service is not this office's strong suit. I scheduled an 11am appointment and explained my needs when I called. I arrived a few minutes early and was told the attorney was wrapping up with another client — fine. That client left at 11:03. For the next 22 minutes, the attorney and admin staff discussed other cases and appointment reminders while I waited. When I asked to confirm my appointment time, the admin seemed annoyed. The attorney eventually came out, grabbed something from the printer, glanced up and said "If you're ready now, I can talk" — then walked off without indicating where I should follow. The admin had to point me to the right office. I explained that I needed help setting up my business correctly and wanted to pay for professional guidance to make sure the paperwork was done right. The attorney handed me a stack of forms and said "these are what you need." When I clarified that I was hoping to hire someone to help me complete them accurately, he said "Yeah, I can do that, but I charge $750" — as if the idea of paying for legal services was something I needed to have explained to me. He came across as condescending and made me feel foolish for asking for help with something outside my expertise. I understand my needs may be small compared to his usual caseload. That's fine — but if this type of work isn't something he wants to take on, that could have been communicated when I called to set the appointment, saving us both the time. He may be a skilled attorney. But if client experience matters to you, look elsewhere.

  Rick is a fantastic lawyer. He was informative and reassuring from the moment I hired him as representation. He was always available to answer any questions I had whether he was at his office or home. He was able to work out a plea to a significantly lesser charge in my case. Considering the amount of evidence against me I couldn't be happier. Don't hesitate to hire Rick Hyde.

  Rick and John represented me in a case which could have changed my life into a nightmare which no one could ever want to imagine. I am able to write this review only because of Rick, John and their teams hard work. Both made me feel as good and as confident as anyone could feel in the situation I was placed in. They both always told me the truth in the potential outcome of the case, my options and my chances without giving me any false hopes. They assured me many, many times they were fighting for me as hard as they could and would leave no stone unturned. John was relentless in digging into information which pertained to my case and cases like mine. He assured me they would be "Very Prepared" when the court date came, and they were. Some of the items he found were amazing, he was so knowledgeable of all of the laws as was Rick. Both John and Rick would meet me at their office each evening as court date got closer and we would work on the case late into the evening each time. A lot of times John would stay and work on it as I was leaving. I will never forget the words Rick told me when he started the case and reminded me of as we continued to prepare for the case. He would tell me " I Hate Losing more than I Love Winning". He proved it each and every day in preparation and in court. When we were in the court room and he was on the floor defending me I felt like he was fighting for me like I was his own son. The morning before closing statements, Rick was in the office at 4:00am preparing. The teamwork between Rick and John was awesome, they were always communicating and working together. When the verdict came, it was obvious how much they cared as they were as emotional as I was. I will never use anyone else again and would recommend Rick and John to anyone that needs a "Great Attorney" who will care, listen and do everything they can in there power to help you.
