  When your freedom, reputation, and future are on the line, the attorney standing beside you matters more than almost anything else. For me, that attorney was Joseph J. Lonardo, or Joe, as my family and I call him. I was indicted in Cuyahoga County on charges including aggravated murder, two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, and having weapons while under disability. The stakes could not have been higher. From the start, Joe handled my case with professionalism, confidence, and exceptional preparation, which immediately reassured me that I had the right person in my corner. He kept my family involved at every stage, was always honest with me, kept me informed, and never treated me like just another paycheck. I always knew that my life mattered to him. What stood out most was how he handled discovery and evidence. He always showed me my discovery and never hesitated when I asked to review it again or talk through the evidence for the third, fourth, or fifth time. He was patient, thorough, and never made me feel like I was asking too much. Watching him explain the strengths and weaknesses of the evidence showed me just how thoroughly he had mastered every aspect of my case. I spent nine months in the Cuyahoga County Jail, and Joe visited me at least once a week. Those meetings were never rushed or limited to status updates. We discussed evidence, strategy, possibilities, and every concern I had until I understood exactly where my case stood. During those nine months, I watched countless people become frustrated because they rarely heard from their attorneys. Some felt forgotten. That was never my experience. Joe showed up consistently, was always candid about the reality of my situation, and made himself available whenever my family or I needed answers. What ultimately matters most is the outcome. On May 18, 2026, every charge against me was dismissed, and my case was closed. No attorney can ethically promise a result, and every case is different. But I can say without hesitation that if you are facing serious criminal charges and your future is on the line, you want someone prepared, strategic, relentless, and respected in the courtroom. Joseph J. Lonardo embodies those qualities. He earned my trust, my respect, and my deepest gratitude. I will never forget what he did for me, and I recommend him without reservation.

  I don’t even have the words to fully express what Attorney Mitchell Yelsky has done for my husband and our family. When everything felt hopeless and the odds were stacked against us, he stepped in and fought for my husband like it was his own family.
