- HZHunter Zent6 days ago1.0⚠️ My experience with Spitz Law Firm — prospective clients, please read this before trusting them with your case. I reached out to Spitz Law Firm because I believed I had a legitimate employment case that deserved to be investigated. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I was hired and treated as a 1099 worker, while I was being told by the employer that I was a W-2 employee. Taxes were being withheld from my paychecks, yet I was refused the opportunity to complete the appropriate W-2 paperwork. That alone raised serious questions about how my employment was being classified and whether the employer was handling payroll properly. Then I was terminated under a “no call, no show” policy. The problem? I had already informed the employer two days beforehand that I would not be able to make it in. They were given advance notice, so calling it a “no call, no show” was something I believed should have been challenged. I contacted Spitz because I needed someone who understood employment law and could actually evaluate what happened. Instead, I felt like my case was completely blown off. Rather than feeling like I had an advocate in my corner, I felt like I was left to deal with the consequences on my own. The employer’s decision ultimately put me in a position where I had to start packing up my belongings and preparing to leave, while I was still trying to figure out what legal options I had. I’m not saying this to tell anyone what they should do. I’m sharing my personal experience so people can make an informed decision before hiring this firm. My experience was that there was a lot of beating around the bush and not enough action or communication when I needed help. If you’re considering Spitz Law Firm for an employment matter, do your research, ask questions about exactly what they will do for your case, and make sure you’re comfortable with the level of communication and representation you receive. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would personally steer clear of Spitz Law Firm. I expected an advocate. Instead, I felt like I was left out to dry.

- CJCee Jay6 days ago5.0I am not sure who the lawyer on my case was but I dealt directly with Evan. I am assuming he was an assistant attorney. Either way he was exceptional. I am not sure if he still with the law firm but a big thank you to him! My case was wrongful termination back in 2017 -18. I won my case and it didn’t take very long. But if I ever need you guys again and if he’s still there I’ll be back!
