  I saw an ad for Mr. Rob Healey and I contacted him regarding some legal work in Ohio. I live in South Florida. He told me that once I paid a $2,500 retainer, he would work on my case. I paid $1,750. My puppy had an allergic reaction and I ended up with a $4,000 vet bill. I called the firm and asked for a refund. The woman on the phone was very rude. At that time, I was only asking for $500 back because I planned on still hiring Mr. Healey. After looking at my account, I was worried that the charges came from Minnillo Law. I was expecting a charge from Rob Healey. At any rate, after the ladies rude behavior, I disputed the payments I made. I no longer wanted to retain Mr. Healey. I spoke on the phone with Mr. Healey and he refunded me $500. I placed a dispute with the bank over all of the charges. He reversed the refund of $500. This law firm owes me $1,750 and they have done no work for me. They are simply blowing me off. I called and closed the cases with the bank and the law firm is refusing to refund me. Now I have to file a small claims case and appeal the dispute. BUYER BEWARE. I just spoke to Mr. Healey and he's saying his credit card processing company is "investigating" this. He got my money and I was just notified that he took away my access to MyCase, which is the secure forum we were communicating on. Why would this attorney fight a chargeback (refund) to begin with when he hasn't done any legal work for me?

  My case was destined for failure from the beginning. I can't believe the firm got me any settlement amount at all. I don't think I will ever call anyone else but Minnilo for future service.
