  Robert Shea & Associates was assigned as my public defender through the Toms River Court municipal court. Although the case took close to two years to resolve, (no fault to us-the wheels of the government turn slowly). I could not of asked for a better outcome! His office staff was very attentive & proactive. Whenever I called to ask questions or request documents. Mr. Shea fought in my corner for the best outcome possible! And I walked out of the court house in tears of joy! The system is not easy to navigate, and it’s especially NOT easy for those of us who live paycheck to paycheck whom get wrangled up in a bad situation. I was looking at the possibility of my entire world to get shaken up and with the STATE police….but I walked out of the courthouse with a resolved case, being able to continue my life as is….my life intact and no hiccups! Thank you so much, Mr. Shea and to your staff for riding along side me in such a dark time! THANK YOU for fighting for and believing in me!!! I will not let you down!!!! Kindest Regards!!!!   I would love to be able to give no stars.. The worst public defender ever. It is disgusting the way people are treated when they receive a FREE attorney , I have been lied to multiple times, case has been going on almost 2 years and should have been dismissed. Sadly he cannot do his job properly.
