  RUN!! If you are looking to be pushed aside and not fought for by your own representation then Craig is your guy. Throughout my case, I was consistently left feeling unheard. Even after the first surgery for my injury was botched and required another surgery, the lack of understanding became even more present. Craig allowed my workers comp attorney to drag me through hell while constantly trying to reassure me he knew what he was doing. After my first surgery I was released back to work but immediately failed my DOT test on my first day. Going back and forth with Craig, it finally resulted with him sending me to his doctor for a second opinion and new MRI. This new MRI showed my injury was made worse and would require another surgery. It was several months before I was taken back into care by the doctor and scheduled a new surgery. During that time, I could not go back to work because I was still not healed, and was without any income or benefits for more than 4 months. After some time I was given a “voluntary tender” that would later bite me in the end. I did consult with other attorneys about feelings of mistreatment but was told numerous times, it would be unethical to take over the case and could further complicate an already complicated case. When asking Craig about what was being done to fight for me, the client, I was just told that if believed I was not being taken care of, I could file an ethical complaint. Though this option was given to me, I also felt like I would complicate the case further and just wanted to move forward with my life. This injury caused me to change career paths and miss many opportunities but none of this was taken into account by my “representation”. Craig consistently cowered and allowed my case to be pushed back. I understand this is a tactic in law and was aware these things take time but there was no sticking up for me. Toward the end, I had to reach out to his office multiple times for an update since I had heard nothing from April to September even though the case was to be seen again within 18 days from our last conversation in April. During that call I was told that it was because of his work that I received temporary disability benefits in the beginning of my case, even though my work took full responsibility and would be paying the benefits regardless. During settlement talks, Craig still didn’t fight for me AGAIN and I was forced to split the amount of voluntary tender out of my settlement since the judge did not want to just wrap things up and not split hairs. Craig stayed silent instead of explaining the the amount given would have been the amount received from temporary benefits if the workers comp attorney would have placed me back into the care of the doctor like he was supposed to in good faith. My settlement was cut that cost due to his incompetence. The only reason I contacted his office was for proper representation but now in retrospect it feels like I should’ve done more research into a real attorney. One that not only represents you to expedite the healing process but ensures there is no mistreatment of their client. Now that I have settled, I am happy to not have someone like Craig Fishman be my representation.

  Craig and his staff helped me through what I viewed as a potentially career ending injury. Incredibly responsive, easy to get a hold of, and I felt like he really fought hard for me. His background and understanding of the process paired with his ability (and patience) to explain everything to me gave me a lot of comfort while dealing with system that was unfamiliar and confusing.
