  I can’t say enough good things about Attorney Brad Coates and his right hand, Jen. My boyfriend was struck by a car while crossing the street by a woman who failed to stop. She was arrested at the scene. He was never someone who wanted to “go after” anybody and actually felt like a scumbag for pursuing a claim. I had to remind him that this wasn’t about taking money from someone—it was about making sure he was protected if he had suffered permanent injuries that could affect his ability to work and provide for himself in the future. I did my own research and found Attorney Brad Coates, and I’m so grateful that I did. From the beginning, Brad and Jen treated us with compassion, professionalism, and genuine concern. Brad also has this great no-nonsense, tell-it-like-it-is attitude. He doesn’t sugarcoat things, he tells you exactly what he thinks, and you always know exactly where you stand. For us, that was incredibly refreshing. We never felt like we were being given false promises or told what we wanted to hear. We eventually learned that the driver had only $25,000 in insurance coverage, which made the situation even more challenging. Despite that, Brad and Jen worked tirelessly with the insurance company and medical providers to negotiate everything they could and get my boyfriend the best possible settlement. What really impressed me was that their work didn’t stop when the settlement was reached. Less than two weeks after the case was settled, Brad called to let my boyfriend know that there was another check waiting for him at the office for several thousand dollars because a hospital had refunded part of his bill as a result of the negotiations Brad had handled. That says everything about the kind of attorney Brad Coates is. He didn’t just settle the case and move on. He continued working to make sure every possible dollar that should have gone back to my boyfriend actually did. If you are looking for a personal injury attorney who will truly fight for you, shoot straight with you, communicate with you, and actually care about the outcome—not just the paycheck—I would highly recommend Brad Coates and his team.   Brad Coates was exceptional from start to finish after a family member was involved in a car accident. He is not only an outstanding personal injury attorney, but also a genuinely warm and compassionate person who truly cares about the people he represents.   I chose Brad Coates to represent me after going through one of the most humiliating experiences in my life. He skillfully represented me in court, got the charges reduced and explained the actions I had to take after the court’s determination. Moreover, a year later, he worked with me to expunge my record. Although his manner is quite brusque, like many lawyers, he will dial that down if you complain! Overall, I was pleased and relieved with the resolution of what was an incredibly traumatic incident.
