  We recently had to update my Mother’s will and other documents. Jeanne was very helpful in answering questions and explaining things clearly so that we could honor my Mother’s wishes. Her expertise and clarity made navigating this challenging time much easier. Jeanne and her assistant, Gabrielle, were professional and efficient, yet kind and helpful.   Avoid if you are in a controlling abusive relationship and you need people to defend you. I was in a very delicate situation with an extremely abusive man. He cheated. He filed for divorce. I needed a good attorney and I felt that the current attorney that I had wasn't paying attention. I had heard that these people were bulldogs and would protect women so I had a meeting with them, paid the retainer and gave them all the documentation from the previous attorney. I let them know that the interrogatories and such were due. They had everything. Over a year they kick the can down the road kept charging me giving me updates when they actually weren't doing anything on my case whatsoever. They told me I wouldn't be able to keep my home that I'd have to pay my ex for the home that only I had paid for for over a decade and a half. I asked multiple times for them to file the proper documentation with the court and they refused. They told me it wasn't necessary. It was no big deal. I told them that it was court ordered to be done and it needed to be done. They continued to refuse to file the proper documentation and the attorney handling my case couldn't comprehend things that I without a legal degree, fully had awareness and understanding of. It got to the point where I really didn't have much money left and so they gave me the choice to sign a document so that they could be released from the case. If I didn't sign I would have to pay for the court fees for them to go to court regarding it. But of course I went to court and I told the judge what they did and even the judge called them incompetent. What they did to me was shameful. As it turns out I had to represent myself at trial. And guess what????? I WON!!!!! I WAS ABLE TO SHOW ALL THE EVIDENCE OF WHAT HAD BEEN DONE TO ME by my ex. How he had robbed me and actually used the court system to abuse me further. Truth be told if this law firm had not screwed me over... I would have lost my home due to their incompetence. The judge forced them to file the documentation they were required to and in 2 hours... 2 hours they had it done, proving that they should have done it at least 9 months prior. And Tracy was so shameful so incredibly shameful, that she immediately sent me a bill and put a lien on my house illegally, as the bill wasn't even yet days old. It was paid within 24 to 48 hours. But she was completely shameless!!!! She knew that they had broken the law and they had not done what they ought to. Avoid this place at all costs. Shame on you, Tracy. You will answer to Jesus for what you did.
