  Erin Urbom is a sorry excuse for a lawyer, she lies and takes your money. I hired her for a custody suit and thought she would be great. She was terrible-no communication from her end, if I wanted to know something I would have to reach out. She lied repeatedly-she kept giving excuse of why we didn’t have a court date over and over then she finally gave me a court date I said I would be there and she told me that it was just the initial hearing and that I didn’t need to be there, but I’m sorry, this important matter I’m showing up for everything, I showed up to the courthouse and was told that the judge was not even in the office that day! She billed me for this and a whole lot of other charges. After doing my own detective work and getting copies of stuff from the opposing attorney and e-mails between the two attorneys-I caught Erin in many lies-I requested all the case files and e-mails between them from Erin and she failed to provide everything to me so I was left with hiring a new attorney. A person shouldn’t have to worry if they can trust their own attorney about such an important matter like child custody.I wish I knew what I know now about the justice system 7 years ago when that happened because I would have taken the appropriate steps to hold her accountable

  Erin absolutely does not fight for what is in the best interest of the child(ren). If you’re a parent looking for an attorney to help protect your child(ren) and what is in the best interest for the future, Erin is not the right attorney for you.

  If Erin is representing you be prepared to be unhappy throughout your entire case and walk away with less than the bare minimum that should be done. Abysmal response time yet has no issue billing in a timely manner, ask how many times I got billed for a child support calculation they kept computing wrong... If Erin is representing the other party, go ahead and celebrate because you'll have a walk in the park with anyone other than Erin. She makes public defenders look like they deserve a presidential medal.
