  Erin absolutely does not fight for what is in the best interest of the child(ren). If you’re a parent looking for an attorney to help protect your child(ren) and what is in the best interest for the future, Erin is not the right attorney for you.

  If Erin is representing you be prepared to be unhappy throughout your entire case and walk away with less than the bare minimum that should be done. Abysmal response time yet has no issue billing in a timely manner, ask how many times I got billed for a child support calculation they kept computing wrong... If Erin is representing the other party, go ahead and celebrate because you'll have a walk in the park with anyone other than Erin. She makes public defenders look like they deserve a presidential medal.

  0/10 would not recommend. No communication, no prep work, charge to redo their own mistakes. Continuance after continuance because of their own scheduling issues or failure to have the other party served. Will withhold case files when you leave. Will default agree to extra custody time and less child support for other party when you have already expressed that is against your wishes. You'll find a better lawyer off a bus station bench.

  You'd have better luck going to court without an attorney than paying a cent to these people. Erin will promise the other party things without communicating it to you, I lost track of how many times they had to redo a child support calculation or fix something in the custody order because they can't be bothered to do it right the first time, oh and they'll charge you for their own rework after their mistakes. They'll do zero prep work for your case until it's the day before and you're calling with questions, and Erin will reference some jargon about how orders are almost always done the same way, but when I went to another law office I had zero issue getting the representation that was in our best interest. Also if you leave she'll try to hold your file until you pay your bill in full, and tell you to pay your bill in full or else she won't represent you at family court despite taking payment plans. What else? Oh well in the beginning they failed to follow to process to get the other party served so that delayed our whole case by months, oh and guess who got billed for the additional work they had to do AGAIN for their own mistakes. Should I go on? I'm certain I could write an essay 10 pages long for the poor excuse of a lawyer that is Erin Urbom.
