  I'll start off by saying that Jack Taggart Is The Man! I couldn't have asked for better representation to finally being able to spend meaningful time with my son! Jack is a father himself, so he's exactly who you want as a father representing you if you feel unsure of what to do or where to turn. I had to wait far too long before Jack to get quality time with my child, but as soon as I hired Jack, things started to change rapidly for the better. Jack kept me informed of what to expect going into court, answered all questions I had, and I was never left in the dark or like my case didn't matter. Any issues or disagreements I had with the other party were handled quickly and fairly. Jack is also very transparent with payments and how all that works too, and will make sure you're informed so you don't feel like you're being overcharged or like he's just trying to make money off of you. I felt that everything was done fairly and I knew what to expect. Jack also has a very calm temperament about him, which is really good to have in court when you may feel stressed. I would not hesitate for a second to rehire him again if I needed him! Thank you so much Jack, I really appreciate all the help you and Tina did for my family! Thank you Tina as well for being great at communication and helping me with my case!

  I consulted with Arianna while already retained by another lawyer, mainly as a means of having a second opinion. I was partly expecting a firm sales pitch and beating around the bush with my "tough" questions, but what I got was a very honest, empathetic viewpoint from someone who clearly cared about her work and clients. Most lawyers I would expect to try to convince a person to retain them regardless of how well or poorly their current lawyer was doing, but Arianna provided exactly what I was looking for: well educated feedback on legal process. I will be sticking with my current lawyer, mainly because of how honest, professional, and straightforward Arianna was about the difficulties and state of my case, but I would STRONGLY recommend her to anyone involved in a custody matter in Wake county. She is the kind of person you want on your side when you are pursuing custody of a loved one.

  Dan has to be the worst lawyer in the state from my personal experience. You will get plenty of bills but once you are a customer you won't get results or even return calls.

  Worst firm ever. I tried for months to get a call back from the lawyer and the only thing in ever got was bills. Absolute nightmare.

  After looking into a couple other attorneys and feeling like my money was just being taken through consultations I found Mcllveen Family Law. I spoke with Brittany who was very helpful with setting up a consultation. I was able to meet with Kisha and she helped me fill out all the paperwork I needed. She gave me great guidance on how to file that myself. She was also very informative on how mediation was gonna work. I was also given a couple options for future help. There was no judgement passed on me at all. I felt very comfortable from the moment I walked through the doors. I highly recommend Mcllveen Family Law if you need some help with family matters and just feel like you can't find someone who is reasonable. I look forward to working with them in the future.
