- BJBryant JenksMay 27, 20265.0I hired Bain & McRae, and in particular Alton Bain, to help me with a difficult case involving my father, who had dementia, and the woman he recently married. It was essentially a guardianship case in which we wanted the state to provide oversight of her medical and financial decisions regarding my father’s care and affairs. Alton is a very calm and focused attorney who is almost like a sleeping giant, because when it came time to appear before the judge, he turned into a lion. I was very impressed with how he was able to clearly demonstrate the need for greater oversight and protection in my father’s situation. We had a difficult case to pursue since it involved action against his wife, and Alton was able to achieve the outcome we were looking for. He also seems to know everyone in the court system very well.
