  Just very unprofessional service regarding a simple prenup that my wife had couple month ago. Overall bad communication and didn’t show any professionalism towards their client. A simple prenup agreement cost $2,500 (no complicated assets/liabilities) , needless to say the agreement took them months to complete.I guess they wouldn’t care much.

  Prenup Experience * initial consultation on feb 6th for a simple prenup only asset is bank account and house. was told it would take 1 months to finalize prenup. We picked our micro wedding date for May 15th same year. I was recommended to get a $3,000 retainer. * No communication from them other than to ask for my fiancée’s attorney which I provided. * April 1st I was notified my attorney was leaving the firm and I would be assigned a new attorney. * Silence until April 22 saying the prenup was being drafted and once again asked me for my fiancée’s attorney. * April 28 I was being told by my fiancée that his lawyer has been trying without success to get in contact with my attorney. * May 11 my fiancée went to sign the prenup and it would then get mailed to my attorneys office for me to sign. * May 14th (day before wedding) I received an email that the prenup was ready for me to sign “the prenup is here let us know when you can come and sign” I asked if I can come after the wedding and was told no, I would either have to sign the paperwork in their office or print a copy myself, find a notary and sign with them before the ceremony as well. * I was left with no choice but to show up between hair and make up and sign the prenup on May15 my wedding day. * My attorney at no point in the signing introduced himself despite us never meeting in person. And it seemed like getting a can of soda was more important than being present with his client. * Reimbursement from the retainer took 2 months week of July 26. Had I not called to ask, I don’t believe I would have received reimbursement. I was told it would be mailed. After the delivery failed for obvious reasons(see picture). Check marked July 10, I received an email asking about resending the check on July 23. I asked them to mail again. July 24 I received a call saying I actually needed to pick up the check in order to also get a copy of the prenup which they did not feel comfortable mailing. Even though it was mailed from one attorney to the other just 2 months ago.

  We goggled Kennedy Law and we are so thankful we did!! Marsha Kennedy and her associates were very professional and personable! The first person we talked to was Mac.. we told him we needed wills prepared and he took his time explaining the process! Anytime we called with a question we felt like we were the only clients they had.. didn’t rush off the phone and explained things so these laymen’s could understand! We are very pleased with our results and recommend them highly!!
