- GHG HessJun 13, 20261.0I absolutely do not recommend this firm. We chose this firm based on the prior work they had done for us. That earlier engagement required a deep review on our end because the drafts contained incorrect references to books, pages, and parcel IDs that we had to catch and correct. In January, we re-engaged the firm to help with some deeds and easements. Nothing was time-critical, and we said so. It is now June, and there has been little progress. An assistant drafted one of the deed transfers but never sent it to us, and it took months of follow-up to get that draft into our hands. When it finally arrived, we had to correct the book and page references again — basic details we expected an attorney's office to get right. Over those months, we sent multiple emails, left voicemails, and called the office repeatedly, often going weeks without a response from the partner assigned to our matter or either of the supporting assistants. When the partner finally did respond, they acknowledged the gaps, apologized profusely, and offered a discounted rate. We appreciated the candor and gave the engagement another chance. Nothing changed. What troubles me most is that no one else at the firm intervened. Our outreach went to multiple people, including assistants, yet no other attorney or staff member stepped in to acknowledge the problem or redirect the matter. We ultimately terminated the engagement.
