  Been dealing with Stahl for over 20 years with friends and family. Just recently he has been dealing with my stepson on a dui and to our suprise he made it disappear from his record. If you need a lawyer call Gerald R Stahl, he is the MAN!

  A friend of mine convinced me to try rock wall climbing at the local cross-fit gym. I rented shoes and was told, not surprisingly, that I had to sign a liability waiver. Looking at the wall which appeared to be about 25 feet high, I asked about safety. There were no ropes or harnesses of any kind but there were people on the thing and there was a large foam pad at the base of it. The owner claimed he'd never had a problem so I decided to sign and go for it. He then literally smiled and said to me "break a leg" as I was walking away. After a few trial runs, I was able to make it to the top. Unfortunately, after missing the final grab that would have put me on the mezzanine, gravity took over. Turns out the foam padding may be just fine but the vinyl mat fabric that covers it doesn't give very much. I broke my ankle in two places in addition to shattering my heel bone into four pieces. It is by far the most pain and protracted recovery I have every experienced. Needless to say I was very unhappy with the events of that day and thought surely there must be a case to be made for negligence or something. I contacted Mr. Stahl who patiently listened to my story and agreed to take me on as a client. His subsequent research revealed that the type of waiver I signed is iron-clad in Michigan and there was much legal precedent to indicate that I essentially had no legal leg to stand on, either. Even so, Mr. Stahl skillfully appealed to the owner's insurance company agent and was successful in negotiating a settlement sufficient to cover my very substantial medical expenses. I do not recommend free climbing on rock walls but I am grateful to have had Gerald R. Stahl as my advocate and would recommend him highly to anyone.

  Gerald was honest with what to expect as an outcome. He fought hard for me and was able to get a plea deal that was amazing. I would suggest Gerald if you are looking for a hard fighting and honest lawyer!

  I contacted Gerald Stahl when I returned from the hospital and rehab after having had my tibial and fibular broken by a large dog wondering around the neighborhood who knocked me down. Jerry graciously come to my house to meet with me given my inability to put any weight on my leg. He explained the process we would go through and kept me informed every step of the way. In my view he did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anyone with a possible personal injury claim.
