  Michael Witzke came from another firm but is now with Clark Hill and has been a complete nightmare to work with. I have been forced to deal with Mike Witzke since 2021 when I became guardian for my grandmother. He is very dishonest, uncommunicative and frankly not a very good lawyer. I have personally worked in the legal field since 2013 and know many attorneys but Mike Witzke is a snake. He will never put anything in writing, he always jumps on a phone call to tell you anything with zero follow up in writing. He refuses to give documents when you’re entitled to them, he only responds to your emails when you’ve followed up three or four times and included his assistant. This has been my experience with him since 2021. I would never recommend hiring him or working with him. He will lie to you, ignore you, refuse to respond in writing. He has his filings with the court rejected, costing more and extended time. I do plan to file a grievance outlining specifically how he has failed his duties as an attorney once in finally done with probate since my grandmother passed but for now, this is your warning. ⚠️ Michael Witzke is not who you want to work with.

  My in person interactions with the team at Clark Hill was overall friendly. I caught a couple issues in the paperwork and there were a few moments I wasn't sure if there was more activities to be completed prior to Probate Court completion. My only real grievance is I paid all invoices as soon as they arrived and then months after the last communications, the office sent a "friendly reminder" about a large invoice I didn't pay. I never received it and by this time, all the funds were dispersed from the estate. So, I got left with a large payment out of my pocket, but I got an " I apologize for that".

  I would NOT recommend this law firm. If you're already in a contract with them, I recommend keeping all invoices and proof of payment. Don't be surprised if this company claims you owe money you don't. Their billing team is totally unresponsive - including managers. The office is very poorly ran. Total disaster. My Advice? RUN for the hills... just not Clark Hill.

  Paid Top dollar for several inefficiencies. Was Charged $744 to prepare a quit claim deed. When I went to file it, it too had the wrong address on it. Randi Glanz said I should have proof read it. The attitude towards all their firms errors was infuriating. Can tell these lawyers are working for the corporation. They dont care about people. All about billing hours.
