  Jasmine helped me and my finance get the best possibly outcome after our car was hit on the highway. 10/10 reccomend, will be back if I ever need a law office again!

  I have known Jasmine & Jamie for quite some time. Our boys went to Elementary school together actually so we would chat lightly at the bus stop. My world changed in an instant when I got injured at work. I wasn't going to go the route of "It's time I need help" until worker's comp attempted the "You cannot have this due to what our Drs state you require." I was livid; my healthcare was being swept under a mat just to ensure another EMT was on the road. I knew Jamie ran a law firm however I did not know if work injuries were something he worked on. Indeed, he does!!! I will be SUPER HONEST. I was under the impression that this would be resolved quickly. Unfortunately, between bills, hospitals, lack of other parties, my own increase of health issues-this was not a quick ordeal. I also knew I didn't want anything laying over my head from this traumatizing situation. Jasmine was SUPER ontop of all of the invoices/bills, documents-she even made sure that me mental health was staying up to par. I'm sorry to say that this lawfirm-this business actually cares about their clients. The routes they take to make sure you-not your mother, not your friends-YOU are kosher with every step and both of them filled me in during the entire process. Even when it came to mediation; a very jarring point of the settlement process, BOTH of them were accessible in case I required anything (I have vocal & muscular tics/tremors which can lead to seizure-like activity from my injury). Just knowing how welcoming I felt- "family" is the perfect word to describe how they treated me. Purely like family. I even have them looking into paperwork from SSI/SSDI since that needs to be appealed. I have dealt with some other lawyers/firms and the "family like" presence was never felt. Genuinely, the entire office is great. My award of the century definitely goes to Jamie and Jasmine. All 5 stars and more if I could.

  My file was lost for more than 6 months. Eventually, it was found, but then they decided to drop my case.

  Important Advice for Clients Considering Firing This Firm I hired Ellis Law for a severe injury (forearm permanent hardware/scarring). My experience aligned with what some call a "factory law firm" model—focusing on "low-hanging fruit" (basic insurance policy limits) rather than conducting deeper, warranted investigations into the defendant’s personal assets or employer liability- routine lawyer diligence of representation, expected given the nature of injury. Warning for those looking to switch attorneys, as is your right: When I fired this firm, they continued to work on my file and finalized a second settlement after they were officially terminated. This "file-stuffing" tactic makes it nearly impossible for your new, more diligent attorney to take your case, as this original firm will claim a lien on the money. If this happens to you: Document everything. Ensure your termination notice is in writing and dated. File a formal complaint with the MA Board of Bar Overseers (BBO). Even if they tell you it’s a "fee dispute," your complaint creates a permanent internal record. They'll likely have investigated this firm to a certain point, if your complaint is meritorious. Consider not participating and settling in an enforced-option Mass Bar Association Legal Fee Arbitration proceeding. Accept this firm's fee at that point, because the arbitration proceeding will compel you to release the attorney from any and all liability around this sort of legal malpractice of theirs. And you don't want to grant them that. Encourage others to do the same. The BBO needs to see a pattern of this behavior (working on files without authority) to take disciplinary action. I am sharing this so the next person knows they aren't alone and knows exactly where to go to report these tactics.
