  I had an excellent experience working with Attorney Philip L. Arnel. He was knowledgeable, thorough, responsive, and very clear throughout the entire process. My matter involved correcting and sealing an FBI-related criminal record, and Phil took the time to explain each step, what needed to be done, and what I should expect. He stayed on top of the process, handled the necessary filings and communications, and ultimately helped achieve a very positive outcome for me. What I appreciated most was his attention to detail and willingness to communicate directly when something needed to be addressed. He also went above and beyond by helping explain the situation to a prospective employer while the record update was still processing. I am very grateful for his help and would absolutely recommend Attorney Arnel to anyone who needs assistance with criminal record sealing, expungement, or FBI record correction matters.

  We retained Mr. Arnel to represent our wrongfully charged 18-year-old son at the strong recommendation of a good friend who is also a Clerk-Magistrate. Phil was highly responsive and clearly explained the nature and severity of the criminal charge. We were naturally anxious, but Phil provided excellent perspective and support at every step, and he maneuvered to minimize our legal fees. Phil was professional and friendly yet a confidence-building bulldog in our corner. He thoroughly prepared us with an excellent map of the process. Our son was a college freshman and appeared via Zoom as arranged by Phil, yet Phil insisted on himself appearing in-person to assure that the court presentation and argument went smoothly. Prior to the Zoom hearing, Phil brought us into the setting and mood by texting pics of the courtroom and judge so that we could “walk in” mentally prepared. It was also reassuring that our experienced attorney knew the judge and their friendly and funny banter confirmed that Phil was highly respected, which put us even more at ease, as the judge adopted the awesome deal that Phil had spent nearly two months negotiating with the prosecutor. I would highly recommend Phil to anyone in need of a great legal advocate.
