  Overall I was disappointed with my experience using the Morris Bart law firm. When I called to file a claim, I told the receptionist that I was dealing with a concussion, and she immediately said that because of this she would make sure I got an experienced attorney. I think that's just a line. During the year and a half of handling my claim, I had problems with my experienced attorney. 1. I had 10 instances of miscommunication or no communication. I even sent an email detailing why it was important to have very clear communication while healing from my concussion, because I get easily confused -- no response. 2. He didn't tell me that he actually filed a lawsuit until 1 month after filing, when I directly asked him if he ever had to file a lawsuit. 3. My attorney didn't tell me that a personal injury settlement could affect my Medicaid insurance coverage until the last day I signed my paperwork. He said it as almost an after thought on his way out after I signed the papers-- by the way you have Medicaid, so you might lose your insurance. I feel that I should've been informed long before my settlement was finalized so I could have the proper strategies in place to protect my insurance coverage. This has put my children at risk of losing their health insurance, and I am still continuing to try to navigate this extremely stressful situation that could've been avoided had he communicated this with me before the signing of my paperwork. The repeated gaps in communication and lack of timely updates made my experience significantly more stressful. I expected basic professionalism from the Morris Bart lawfirm, and I did not receive that.

  From my personal experience with Morris Bart law firm was not a good one. My lawyer didn't do anything he said he was going to do. I had to get a supervisor involved, didn't NEVER asked me what I loss in wages. Anybody in the Shreveport area I would advise yall to use them no local lawyers to talk to face to face didn't get the money I thought I was supposed and he defendant the insurance company so no I wouldn't use them
