I cannot say enough good things about Attorney Tracy Frye and Frye, Troxler & Davis. Attorney Frye represented me in an extremely difficult and important family court matter, and the representation I received from her was exceptional from beginning to end. Attorney Frye was prepared, confident, straightforward, and an outstanding advocate in the courtroom. What impressed me most was that she never lost sight of what mattered most; the best interests of my child. She listened to my concerns, gave me honest and practical advice, answered my questions, and made sure I understood the process and what to expect every step of the way. I also cannot say enough about the work Attorney Frye and her staff put into my case. Their responsiveness, attention to detail, and willingness to help throughout the entire process did not go unnoticed. I always felt that my case was being taken seriously and that the people handling it genuinely cared about the outcome. When you are dealing with a case that can have a life-changing impact on your child, having an attorney and legal team you trust completely is invaluable. I will always be grateful for the work Attorney Frye and her staff put into my case and the outcome they helped achieve for my family. Attorney Frye has earned my complete trust and will be the first person I call if I ever need legal representation again. I would recommend Attorney Frye and Frye, Troxler & Davis without hesitation to anyone looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, responsive, and exceptionally capable legal representation.

I needed a lawyer to represent me in a divorce in Lawrence County Ohio. My options were limited as my wife had contaminated the lawyers that were locally available to me. After multiple calls to highly rated or recommended law firms in the tri-state area I learned there were almost no lawyers in Huntington and Ashland that practice in Ohio. After extensive research I found Frye, Troxler, & Davis in Russell, KY. They had great online reviews and staffed with a lawyer (Ms. Davis) who can practice in Ohio. At my initial consultation in May, I met with Ms. Troxler, as Ms Davis was in court that day. Ms.Troxler reviewed my case and I was impressed by her level of confidence and professionalism. I retained their services without hesitation and felt a sense of relief and certainty that I was in good hands. My pre-trial was set for June. Days prior to the pre-trial I was unclear how everything would proceed as I had never been through something like this before. I had yet to meet or speak with Ms. Davis about my case. I assumed a pre-trial meeting would be set up to review my case in order to be prepared and know what my expectations should be. I only ever spoke to her legal assistant who told me that no pre-trial meeting was necessary and that the pre-trial was just a formality. My wife and I were very agreeable and amicable on most of the issues a divorcing couple with a home and a child deal with. The only point of contention was spousal support. I met Ms. Davis for the first time in the court room stairwell and was informed that my wife was asking for a large sum in child support and an even larger sum in spousal support. I was advised by Ms. Davis in that moment that this was "the best deal I was going to get" and the outcome would likely be worse for me if we went to trial. I was also instructed that I had to give her my answer then and there. Needless to say I was shocked and overwhelmed. My wife had falsely reported my income on the support worksheet. My income was grossly over-estimated and her own income on the which was far less. Ms. Davis knew this and both lawyers had access to our W2's and income tax forms. Per my lawyer's "expert" advice I was led to believe there were no other strategies or legal recourse to improve my outcome, so with a great deal of fear, uncertainty, and hesitation I reluctantly agreed. I was then told by Ms.Davis I was free to go. We never entered the court room, we never spoke to a judge, I signed no papers that day. I immediately regretted my decision. After doing the math I was realized I was placed in a position where my monthly income would be wiped out and I was faced with an uncertain future. I called the law firm the next day to see if it was too late to rescind the agreement and take my chances in trial. I had a multitude of questions/concerns and was hoping Ms Davis could guide me. I told the secretary that I urgently needed to speak with Ms. Davis and expressed my concerns about the prior days pre-trial agreement. She responded with a chuckle followed by the statement "Yep, it's like that sometimes" then transferred me to Ms. Davis. However, I was never given the opportunity to speak with her and was intercepted by her legal assistant who informed me that she was busy with another client. I was instructed to email my concerns/questions to Ms. Davis as she was "very responsive to emails." I immediately wrote a lengthy email to Ms.Davis. After several days with no response by phone or email I was in turmoil over the mistake I had made in agreeing to the deal. I then began seeking new counsel and was able to find a lawyer in Ohio an hour away from where I live. He had already fully reviewed my entire case prior to our meeting and within 15 minutes of our discussion, I learned that I in fact had many options available to me and was clearly being taken advantage of by my wife and her lawyer. I have since retained the new lawyer and terminated services with Ms. Davis due to lack of confidence in her ability to handle this case, substandard due diligence, and very poor communication.

I had the opportunity to work with Marie Troxler and Whitney Davis of Frye, Troxler & Davis on a criminal defense matter, and I was impressed throughout the process. They were highly professional, well prepared, responsive, and fully committed to securing the best possible outcome for their client. Their attention to detail, strategic approach, and collaboration with our investigative team at One Logic Source made a meaningful difference in the case. It was clear that they genuinely cared about their client and were willing to put in the work necessary to pursue a strong defense. I would confidently recommend Frye, Troxler & Davis to anyone in need of skilled, dedicated criminal defense representation.

My mother passed away and I had alot to deal with as far as property and personal belongings. My sister and i hired 1 attorney and got next to nothing from him. No returned calls, no returned messages no nothing. So someone I know recommended Frye, Troxler, and Davis so I went with them. I was appointed to Hunter Scott. Best decision I've ever made to get through this. Hes made this whole process so seamless. And there was no waiting. He was 100% transparent with everything but everything went so smooth and fast. I would highly recommend him if any kind of "family" situation may arrise.
