  My brother was interested in applying for disability benefits, so he went to Burchett Law Firm in Glasgow, Kentucky. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. He told me that the woman who handled his initial paperwork was very nice, but after that, his experience went downhill. He said another staff member was dismissive and even laughed at him. My brother is severely hard of hearing, so you can only imagine how uncomfortable and frustrating that must have been for him. He didn't want me to accompany him, so I can only share what he told me. According to him, they focused on the fact that he took Social Security early and repeatedly told him he was being penalized for it. He also said they asked whether he was hard of hearing, despite that information being clearly documented in the medical records he brought with him. Based on what my brother described, they were not very helpful, and in my humble opinion, the experience was disappointing.

  Although they were not able to make a case for me they were very understanding and explained my situation very well, and what I needed to move forward. If my situation changes I will go to them for representation.

  Mrs. Mary Burchett- Bower is nothing short of amazing. I was turned down by numerous attorney’s in Bowling Green. Although it was outside of my hometown, they was very good with working with me so that I didn’t have to make that drive.
