  I cannot say enough good things about Nick Deets and his entire staff. During an incredibly difficult time in my life, Nick was professional, compassionate, responsive, and always available when I needed him. I never felt like I was simply another case—they treated me with genuine kindness and made me feel that they truly cared about me and what I was going through. I always felt confident that my case was in the very best hands. Nick combines exceptional professionalism with compassion and personal attention, and his staff was equally kind, helpful, and supportive.   One night in July 2024, four other guys and I were sitting in construction traffic in Pennsylvania (we're all from Indiana) when we were rear ended by a 20' box truck. The driver of the box truck was running approximately 55 mph when he hit us. All five men in our vehicle sustained injuries that ranged from a very badly broken ankle to fractured backs, head injuries, a shattered elbow, badly stretched ligaments and muscles in our necks, and, as you can imagine, psychological issues. I have a friend who is the top criminal lawyer in Indiana. I contacted my friend for a recommendation for a personal injury lawyer and he did not even hesitate; Nicholas "Nick" Deets, with Hovde Dassow + Deets!! Nick handled all the details for four of us, from beginning to end. He dealt with companies from Indiana and Pennsylvania, with the driver's company and insurance, the hospital, the first responders, and with the Workers' Compensation companies involved. Nick has been extremely easy to work with, compassionate, and very helpful. We feel he did an absolutely amazing job defending each one of us and getting us incredible settlements.   I never thought I would need an attorney but life throws you curves. I was blessed to find Nick Deets when I was involved in a bad Truck accident.Nick explained how it would go and he was very patient when I needed answers. He is the kind of guy that anyone can talk to. I told him I wanted someone that would really take care of me. He did exactly as he said he would. I would recommend him to any one who wants a very thoughtful and dedicated attorney on your side when you need one. My sincere thanks go to him and his entire firm. Everyone was very professional and kind and it was greatly appreciated.

  We were incredibly fortunate to work with Nick Deets on my wife’s legal case. She was in a horrible car accident two summers ago. One of the best qualities that Nick had was his timely communication with us. He was really only a simple phone call away any time that we needed him. Since my wife’s accident in July of 2022 Nick and his team stayed in touch with us, offered us updates on our case, as well as treasured advice throughout the tumultuous aftermath we found ourselves in after her accident. The other quality we valued was Nick’s competency in knowing what needed to be done, as well as his drive to make sure that it got done. He was over prepared for every meeting we had, and any communication and negotiation he had regarding our case was handled efficiently. We never had a concern about the quality of work Nick did because he showed us that he cared about us. Knowing that he cared about us made it easy to trust him. Nick’s preparedness was evident in his network of people, from his team to trusted individuals outside of his firm, and his readiness to connect us with them to help us out. Neither my wife or I had needed to be involved with an attorney before we met Nick. We were thoroughly spoiled, as he and his team set an exceptionally high bar for our expectations in the future. I hope that we do not find ourselves with a sizable enough injury again to warrant legal representation, but I would not be concerned with where to find it, because we were in good hands with Nick.

  Conscientious, professional, accommodating. The case was handled in a very conscientious manner always be considerate of our delicate situation. Our attorney was always very professional and accommodating. He met us according to our needs. The firm was fair and honored their fee schedule provided to us ahead of time. Our case was handled in a very timely fashion, giving much consideration to our family needs. I would highly recommend their agency.
