On a personal level, I like Paul and everyone on his team; they were warm and friendly. From the perspective of a client that was represented by Paul Baugh and his team, I can neither recommend them nor will I contact them for further representation. At every possible turn, I was convinced that they were not invested in my case. There was a noticeable lack of urgency or attention to detail. Furthermore, their team delayed my case so many times that in my heart I believe they damaged it. Worst of all, during that time my child was in an unsafe situation. Here are some examples. I was asked to have my evidence to Paul by a specific date, I gave him that evidence around 2 weeks early, in binders, categorized, and color coded. From what I could gather, Paul did not even review that evidence until right before our court date, and then (without consulting me) filed a Motion To Extend because he was not ready for the court date. That resulted in me not seeing my child for 2 and a half months (again, while in an unsafe situation). His team charged me to file that motion. Paul's team also mistakenly filed a Motion To Compel for necessary documentation from the opposing party that they had already sent. Paul's team then tried to charge me for that as well. I've never been to court before, but I expected counsel from my legal counsel. I frequently asked him "What do you think I should do?" and his response would be something to the effect of "That's what you have to decide". At one point, I actually paid more money to get information on what to do from a different attorney because Paul simply would not offer advice. Paul, I see that you read these. Google says 2 stars is for a "Not Great" experience, and that's how mine was. Again, nice person, nice team. I see a lot of great reviews here. Perhaps I just had a below par experience, but I personally will search elsewhere for representation if I ever need it again. Update: A Motion for Extension was filed on my behalf (without consulting me), after which the court date was pushed out. I can see this motion in MyCase.in.gov. I was ultimately not billed for the Motion to Compel filed in error because I pursued the issue with the billing team. I have email correspondence. It is my opinion that I struggled to get advice from Paul during my case. This was noticed by people close to me as well. After review, I do see that the opposing party attempted to dismiss the motion and not the case after Paul's team filed the Motion to Compel in error. I've removed this.

Our experience with Paul was great. He had compassion towards our case and always made us feel comfortable during our time in his office. Paul and his office staff always kept my husband and I informed on the process of our case and I truly feel Paul worked as hard as possible and didn’t over charge for the extra hours he and his staff put in. I would recommend to anyone who is going through a family matter in court to definitely consider Paul Baugh. He has the experience, the compassion and puts in the boxing gloves in the court room. Paul won our grandparent visits for us and I’m positive he can help others win theirs.

Very smart, very precise with his words. The execution I witnessed in my case was phenomenal. Agreeing with others, when they say he helped keep them calm during court. Watching him write down word for word in court caught me off guard but when his notes came into play, the man threw a no hitter. We couldn’t meet but 3 times before the court date due to my work schedule and also being outta town. Much respect and also have referred 3 other dads to him. Very grateful I chose to have him on my side. if I ever need a attorney again, I will be calling him
