  As the opposing party in a family law matter involving this attorney, I was deeply disappointed by what I observed throughout the case. In my opinion, the approach taken appeared to prioritize litigation and conflict over fostering a healthy co-parenting relationship and meaningful involvement in the child’s life. From my perspective, there seemed to be little effort to encourage communication, accountability, or solutions that would strengthen the parent-child relationship. While I understand every attorney has a duty to advocate for their client, I left the process feeling that the child’s best interests were overshadowed by legal strategy. Based on my personal experience and observations, I would not view this attorney as someone who promotes cooperative parenting or family-centered resolutions

  I hired Mr. Schwab to handle my divorce. It was a good decision . I have no regrets about my experience with his firm. His expensive, and knowledge made the process easier then expected. I would recommend him to anyone.

  My wife left me and returned to Colombia. I was deeply saddened and I didn’t want to end my marriage. But I needed the divorce for legal reasons. Van Schwab was understanding and accommodating and he made it as easy as possible at a reasonable price.

  After contacting multiple agencies, I was not able to get any assistance due to staying in Louisiana at the time. Mr. Schwab and his associates assured me immediately that they would able to assist me with no problem at all. Throughout the entire process, he took care of everything and kept me up to date with anything new that I needed to be aware of. In the end he made sure to let me know there was nothing to worry about, just show up and answer the questions. I can now officially restart my life after a quick, painless process!
