  We are very pleased with the experience with M and A Law. Our legal problem was that our home insurance company denied our claim for freeze damages that exceeded $50,000. It was difficult finding a firm that was interested in taking our case. What attracted us to M and A was their claim that they would take "bad faith" cases. We had an initial teleconference with them and then met with Sean. They challenged our home insurance company and were successful in getting the full amount of our claim without having to go to court. You cannot beat that result. Also, everyone at M and A was so pleasant to deal with. We found their fee to be very reasonable.

What I appreciated most: she thought strategically about leverage before sending anything, drafted a strong demand letter, handled all communication with the other side so I didn't have to, and structured the agreement so that any missed payment has serious consequences. Attorney Hira Malik guided me through every stage of the case for a full year — depositions, discovery, expert meetings, mediation — and always took the time to explain the strategy and answer my questions, even the difficult ones about insurance coverage. She clearly knows the trucking and PI defense space, and when things got tense before mediation, she was the one keeping everything moving.
