This was an emergency situation, and despite her very busy schedule, she agreed to take the case the day before the hearing. She made time to speak with my father-in-law and truly listen to his story just two days before the court date, even though we had very little time to prepare. That level of dedication meant so much to us. Attorney Deborah Hawkins was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and supportive throughout the entire process. What impressed us the most is that even with such a short notice, she showed up to court fully prepared and did an excellent job advocating on my father-in-law's behalf. Everything was resolved the same day, and he was able to return home that afternoon, which was a huge relief for our family. Her fee was also very reasonable compared to all the other attorneys we contacted, especially considering the urgency and the quality of work. We highly recommend Attorney Deborah Hawkins to anyone in need of legal assistance. She is compassionate, dedicated, and truly goes above and beyond for her clients. - DPDavid PenceNov 20, 20151.0Debra Hawkins, is a very poor attorney. I put money money up to retain her. I did not think she was the right attorney for me. When she withdrew, she took every penny of the retainer fee. You need to beware, and check around before using her. The retainer fee was several thousand dollars. It cost me about a thousand dollars for each court appearance. And all she did was continue it. Would have been better off with a public defender. This attorney is in it for the money and not for her clients.
