  We loved working with Metz + Jones. They were recommended to me by someone else in the community and it was wonderful to work with a local business in Edgewater where we live. They were prompt on all communications and helped us navigate the estate planning process with deep knowledge and ease of process. They spent a lot of time to ask thoughtful questions to help us decide which route would be best for our estate planning needs and then gave us detailed instructions and lists to make the process of creating our plan as smooth as possible. I would highly recommend Metz + Jones to anyone who wants inclusive, kind, professional and expert attorneys for any of their family planning needs and beyond. Great experience all around.

  If you’re reading these reviews to get an idea for whether or not to use this law firm, keep researching your options. I attempted to work with this law firm but the attorney was very hard to reach and eventually just stopped communicating with me altogether. I suspect her earning potential with my situation was a great deal less than the numerous other clients she is working with and I get that but at least have the professionalism to communicate with me that our working relationship has come to an end. Don’t just leave it for office personnel to field my calls only to leave me still hanging. I have received completely unacceptable service in my experience and would recommend you keep looking when considering this law firm

  My husband, Bob, and I have used Jill and Carol since 1998 when we bought our first condo in Chicago. We were impressed back then and continue to be impressed. The recent sale of our Edgewater condo went flawlessly and was stress-free from start to finish thanks to the professionalism and warmth of everyone we came in contact with from Carol to Abby to Celine. We simply can't imagine using another law firm for our legal needs. Hugely recommended!
