  Caroline office is very bad at organization, no legal advice only tried to slow ball negotiations until an eviction was filed on a disputed balance and her advice was to pay the 5 day notice. I am pro se now filed my own answer appearance request for jury and counter claims on my own. Caroline paralegal are not good at following up gathering information. I basically wrote demand letter myself using tools. I would avoid Caroline she's takes on way too many clients no personalized treatment and charging 425 an hr and doesn't produce documents I requested like a damages sheet or formal settlement agreement. Avoid

  Caroline J. Smith & Associates got us a settlement well beyond what we expected — and the whole process was clean and efficient, with no delays whatsoever. Their skill speaks for itself, but what we admired most was the effort and care they put in. Every step was handled proactively.   From the notice of 5 day eviction to current the case was mishandled. Including paperwork, communication and any records from court date . Caroline and Associates caddy remarks in email format did not help with effectively having an answer or response. Additionally, break down of overall court appearances and judgement was not shared . Cost is on the lower side of thing however for overall performance barley made a dent in the suffered that as a tenant and client head dealing with from the l Management company. Overall not worth the time spent hassling over her then rating take this rating as a hard metric result that this law firm does not produce what they entail at time of consultation and during.

  If I could give them 0 stars, I would. Dawn is great, but unfortunately she isn’t a lawyer. Don’t waste your time. Communication is horrible, they mix up files, delay your case while pushing for trial dates, and never keep you updated. She seems overwhelmed with her personal life and doesn’t prioritize her clients. Do yourself a favor — save your time and money and choose another lawyer.

  I just called in hopes of taking advantage of their free consultation service, which they very prominently display on their website. Apparently, that's a lie. They don't do free consultations, and the man on the phone was less than helpful. How can you possibly advertise this service so widely? Sounds like a scam.
