I presented what I believe is substantial documentation involving workplace harassment, possible sex and age discrimination, retaliation, and other employment-related concerns. The firm declined the matter, but I was not given a meaningful explanation identifying the specific weakness, deadline, evidentiary issue, or other reason for the decision. I understand that attorneys are not required to accept every case. However, people dealing with serious workplace issues deserve clear and respectful communication. I recommend that prospective clients seek several legal opinions rather than relying on one firm’s intake decision.
