- TWTim WolfswinkelJul 11, 20261.0Chris is a fee maximizing attorney. Had a high conflict divorce and Chris gave half-hearted attempts. His fees were outrageous all the way to the end and I finally got up enough courage to step away. I have a new attorney that has reviewed the case and thinks I should go back and try to reclaim some of the money that Chris unethically billed me. Chris did give me a refund of $2,500 but that's only a drop in the bucket of what he unethically billed me. I wanted more but then he threatened me with lawsuit and claimed emotional distress amongst other things. Slimey. Id take your business elsewhere.

When I hired him, I was beginning to lose hope that I’d find an attorney that I’d feel confident in that they’d help in my ‘difficult’ custody case. My previous representation from another well known law firm in the area robbed me of thousands of dollars and got nothing done for me. Chris asked for a fair and reasonable retainer up front and got the job done and got it done QUICK!
