  These people are grade A extortionists. I was very upfront that I had a terrible history with custody lawyers and that I was going to do my best but that I was wary. I had been saving for years for this. My child's father has had CPS called on him three separate times by mandated reporters and I am desperate. Spooner and Associates took advantage of that desperation. I once had an almost two hour phone call where I had to repeat multiple times multiple requests totaling in excess of 45 extra minutes spent on the phone. And when you're not well off in the first place, every dime counts. But Spooner and Associates doesn't care. Then I had the audacity to go on spring break and miss a follow-up email about confirmation about finally, after 6 months, getting something sent out to start the process officially. After almost a month of not hearing anything I finally found the email that I missed. No one had lifted a finger to follow up. When I expressed displeasure with the situation, absolutely zero attempts were made to fix it. I was dropped like a bad habit. Do not come to this practice unless you are prepared to be 100% sunshine rainbows the entire time. These people will run off with all of your money and make it so that you will never be able to rectify the situation you find yourself in unless you're loaded. They have almost 10 grand of my money, and I have no options.

  Spooner & Associates is a professional law firm. I was provided a listening & supportive ear, but also given the facts as to what my options were. My questions were always answered timely and given other scenarios that might come about. I was never rushed or prompted to do anything I wasn't comfortable with. I was always brought up to date timely. I would recommend this law office.

  Dodie Rosenberg represented me in my divorce case. From day one she was patient and attentive while assisting me in every step of building my case. As a result of her great work and preparation, I have full joint custody of my daughter which is exponentially more valuable than the reasonable amount of money I paid for her excellent work. Words can't express my gratitude.
