If you are considering using Morgan & Morgan, beware: you are just a number to them, and the managing partners and handling partners are basically a joke. Assigned as the Executive of my late sister’s Estate having to deal with Morgan and Morgan Marietta GA. Location on her behave and it sickens me when repeatedly hearing those commercials about standing up for families is the biggest lie told. The handling lawyer took 59% of settlement $29,000 , $14,000 medical and my sister only got $7,723 which he stated he paid $5,000 from his pocket… no lawyer has ever done that and if so why? Plus he withheld $200 for any future hidden issues. My experience with this large firm showed a complete lack of empathy, compassion, or actual concern for the client's bottom line. Guess because she pass away. Communication was practically non-existent. The handling attorney repeatedly refused to respond to my specific email questions, requests, and phone calls. Instead, they focused entirely on forcing a signature on a closing statement that featured an inflated settlement number designed primarily to benefit their own bottom line rather than what was fair for the client. They flat out refuse to negotiate their excessive fees. Save yourself the frustration and look for a firm that actually cares about the people they represent.
- DJDee JayJul 15, 20264.0Hector Rojas conducted a masterclass on deposing a witness. My cases involved a tractor trailer with video evidence that the driver backed into the car I was in. Notwithstanding, the driver/owner still denied liability. In deposition, Hector got the driver to admit he had used a faulty break. When asked whether he would use the break again the driver responded "no" because it would malfunction like it did this time. Classic! Well done Hector! Thank you!
