  This law firm is more concerned about collecting a paycheck than standing for integrity or treating people with respect. I was extremely disappointed by the attitude and values I witnessed. The attorney Shakhan frequently makes demeaning comments about Black mothers who rely on government assistance such as welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, or child support. Hearing someone speak so negatively about members of their own community, especially people who may be facing difficult circumstances, is deeply upsetting and unprofessional. What makes it even more concerning is the impression that this firm is willing to represent anyone, regardless of the seriousness of the accusations against them, without showing concern for the impact on victims or the community. While everyone has the legal right to representation, the way this attorney presents himself gives the impression that money comes before ethics or compassion. The firm's co-founder, Chelsea K., works alongside him, yet I have never seen her speak up or distance herself from these comments or attitudes. Instead, it appears that she supports or accepts this behavior. The firm's priority seems to be getting paid rather than demonstrating integrity, accountability, or respect for the people they go against. During legal proceedings, I personally observed testimony and representations that were inaccurate or misleading, and that further undermined my confidence in the firm's professionalism and integrity. I believe a lawyer should treat everyone with dignity, regardless of their financial situation or background. Instead, I felt this firm was judgmental, dismissive, and lacking in compassion. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend their services.
