  I hired Wiggam Law on two separate occasions to help resolve my IRS tax debt. Unfortunately, neither experience achieved the result I was seeking. Based on my financial circumstances and my understanding of the IRS process (my father was an agent for 13 years), I believed I was a strong candidate for an Offer in Compromise. However, my cases took approximately 18 months the first time and 10 months the second time to move forward. By then, I believe I had missed the opportunity to pursue that option. Communication was also frustrating. In my experience, I usually had to reach out for status updates rather than receiving proactive communication. Before hiring Wiggam Law, the IRS had offered me a payment plan of $25 per month. During my representation, that option was no longer available. I don't know why it changed, only that the outcome for me was worse. After two engagements, I was left with essentially the same tax situation I started with despite paying for legal representation. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Wiggam Law.

  I highly recommend Wiggam Law for IRS collection matters and US taxes on international tax issues. The firm offers outstanding legal expertise to deal with complex situations. The firm has a long history of successful outcomes for many problems that would be too much to handle for a lot of other firms. Especially when it comes to "getting clean" with the IRS on international tax issues, it is absolutely essential to have an attorney guide a taxpayer through the process.
