  There I was - Hartford Superior Court - GA14 - criminal court - overwhelmed by the noise and overwhelming despair. I was there trying to help a longtime Hartford autisic neighbor kid, Philip, whom had been incarcerated for stealing a bike and not showing up for his court case. I was desperately searching for his public defender I'd never met. The supposed 10 am. court start was nearing 11 a.m. and Philip's name had yet to be called. Then from across the lobby I saw a familiar face - a fellow South Windsor bobcat Jimmy Sulick. I instantly told attorney Sulick my delemna saying I didn't want Philip to fall through the legal cracks and had hoped to provide Philip's high school records to his appointed public defender to hopefully help his case. Attorney Sulick, clutching an armful of files and seemingly overwhelmed with his own cases, said sure when I asked if he could help get me the name of the lawyer appointed to Philip. After exchanging phone numbers and emails, Mr. Sulick called the next day with a name. (Philip was later released and is back living with his mother and looking for a job) in Hartford Thanks again for caring and helping attorney Sulick.
