  This law firm is very responsive. Not only that but they treated me like I mattered, not just another client to expedite through a rigid process. Easy to reccomend vs a typical billboard lawyer.

  I contacted Haeggquist & Eck after reading the firm’s website, which describes the firm as trauma-informed and says people will be heard, cared for, believed, and supported. My father took the time to explain a serious employment matter during their free case evaluation, but afterward he received only a generic rejection email. I completely understand that a law firm cannot accept every case and that a free case evaluation does not guarantee representation. However, considering how highly the firm speaks about its compassion, client care, and commitment to listening, I expected at least a small amount of meaningful feedback. Even a brief explanation of why the case did not meet their criteria, what information was missing, or what evidence might be helpful would have made the experience feel more respectful and consistent with their advertising. Instead, the response felt impersonal and did not match the compassionate image promoted throughout the website. In our experience, it felt more like a basic intake screening followed by a form rejection. Very disappointing. UPDATE: Thank you for responding. I understand that professional and ethical boundaries may limit the specific information your firm can provide. However, that was never really the issue with my review. I was not expecting legal advice, a detailed case analysis, or a guarantee of representation. I was simply hoping for a little meaningful feedback or general guidance after my father took the time to explain his situation. We have since spoken with another employment law firm that was able to provide some explanation and general guidance regarding the situation and possible next steps. That small amount of communication made a significant difference and showed that it is possible to be helpful while still respecting professional and ethical boundaries. There is a difference between giving legal advice and simply communicating with compassion, professionalism, and some degree of guidance. I do appreciate your acknowledgment that the experience felt impersonal and your statement that you will try to improve that going forward. That was ultimately the purpose of my review.

  I went to Haeggquist having no idea if I even had a case. Alreen helped me evaluate my case and got me set up with Aaron Olsen and Anna Schwartz. I cannot overstate the care, compassion, and commitment this team had for me and my case. I cannot recommend them enough!! All my love and gratitude to this firm and the talented lawyers at work here.

  Allison Gill Sanford is phenomenal. I've been fortunate to be counseled by her and Haeggquist & Eck during some of my most difficult times. She went out of her way to provide not just legal guidance, but genuine care and support. She is incredibly intelligent, knowledgeable, sharp, and skilled at her job. Beyond that, she is also deeply compassionate, collaborative, patient, and kind—qualities not all attorneys possess, but are absolutely essential when clients are navigating challenging times. She balances high-level intellect with a human touch in a way that is rare to find. Her team is equally awesome. For example, I had the opportunity to receive assistance from Hope, who is insightful and lively, and a couple other staff members, who were all attentive, responsive, and professional. I highly recommend Allison, her outstanding team, and the entire Haeggquist & Eck firm without hesitation. It has been a privilege to work with them, and I look forward to continued collaboration.
