  called Nicole Valentine after feeling absolutely devastated and frustrated with my previous defense attorney, who simply wasn’t working on my case and kept making promises that never happened. As someone who holds a professional license, it was extremely important to me that my attorney understood the serious impact a criminal conviction could have on my future professional practice. I hired Nicole after firing my previous attorney, and she was amazing from day one. She gave me hope, and for the first time in a long while, I felt supported and not alone in this battle. She told me, “I will fight hard for you,” and she truly did. Nicole is not only an exceptional attorney, but also a genuinely compassionate human being -and that matters when you’re going through one of the hardest times of your life. There are so many good things I could say about her, but if I had to summarize it in one piece of advice: If you’re in trouble, call Nicole Valentine.   I made contact with Chris Jones (who personally answered the phone) about potentially representing my daughter for a Social Security disability hearing that was scheduled to occur within less than 60 days. I realized I was over my head. He was thorough, patient, methodical, realistic about the potential problems with the case, and despite the short timeline was willing to take on the case! He involved me and my daughter in every step and treated us with respect.
