Absolutely unacceptable customer service. I called multiple times just to schedule an appointment, and every person kept asking me to explain my husband’s immigration situation from the beginning. Instead of helping, they repeatedly transferred me to someone else. Each time I was transferred, the next person had no idea why I was on the line, so I had to repeat everything all over again. After wasting a significant amount of my time, I still wasn’t given an appointment. To make matters worse, the call was disconnected, and no one called me back. It was disorganized, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. If this is how they treat potential clients before they even become clients, it raises serious concerns about the level of service they provide. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

I saw advertisements for the Lisinski Law Firm on TikTok and X. The firm appeared professional, and after dealing with other attorneys who wanted to charge me $3,000 just to prepare and file my DACA paperwork—on top of the government filing fees—I decided to give Lisinski a chance. In my opinion, charging that much simply to file paperwork was unreasonable, so I did not move forward with those firms. After submitting an online form to Lisinski, I was contacted within a day and offered a consultation. I was told that I needed to pay for the consultation in advance, which I did. My appointment was confirmed for Monday the 15th at 11:00 a.m. I work two jobs, and taking time off is neither easy nor something I do lightly. I had to request the day in advance and arrange for coworkers to cover my shifts. Despite the inconvenience, I made those arrangements because my immigration case is important and I was looking forward to speaking with an attorney. On Friday, I noticed a missed call from the firm, but I was working and could not answer. When I returned the call, no one answered. On Saturday, I was finally able to speak with someone. I was told that the firm had double-booked my appointment and had been trying to contact me to reschedule. However, I was then informed that all the Monday appointment slots had already been filled. I was shocked. My appointment had already been confirmed. I was told that 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. had been available, but those times had now been given to other clients. I explained that I had already made arrangements with two employers and that I believed my confirmed appointment should be honored. The representative said she would look into the matter and call me back. To her credit, she did call back and informed me that my original appointment had been restored. I was relieved and believed the issue had been resolved. Then, on Sunday, I received a text message asking me to call regarding my Monday appointment. I called immediately and was once again assured that my appointment was scheduled for Monday the 15th at 11:00 a.m. After receiving a second confirmation, I felt reassured that everything was in order. However, on Monday morning at approximately 9:30 a.m., I received another call informing me that they would not be able to see me after all. At that point, I was extremely disappointed and frustrated. After multiple confirmations and repeated assurances, my appointment was canceled anyway. My time, my work obligations, and the effort I put into arranging coverage for two jobs seemed to mean nothing. Immigration matters are deeply personal and incredibly important. For many of us, our future, our opportunities, and our hopes are tied to these appointments. To have a consultation repeatedly confirmed and then canceled at the last minute is not only unprofessional but also deeply disrespectful. I initially had high hopes for this firm, but this experience left me feeling as though clients are treated as numbers rather than people. Immigrants deserve the same respect, professionalism, and consideration as anyone else. Our time is valuable. Our concerns matter. Ms. Lisinski, I genuinely want to know: what did I do to deserve this treatment? Why was my confirmed appointment repeatedly changed and ultimately canceled after I had already rearranged my work and personal responsibilities? How can clients trust that their cases will be handled properly if commitments made by the firm can be disregarded when they become inconvenient? Being an attorney carries a responsibility to treat people with fairness, respect, and professionalism. Unfortunately, my experience with your firm did not reflect those values.

I wasn't very impressed with my experience. The communication felt off, and overall it just wasn't what I expected. I think I'll look elsewhere, but I wish them the best.
