  Ours was a particularly challenging TRO. Although we had solid evidence and witnesses, our case was difficult to prove, and Nigel was honest about our chances. Our assigned Judge warned us he rarely awarded restraining orders in cases like ours, which he initially characterized as a neighbor dispute. The trial would span three days in court. Nigel was generous with his time and worked with me to ensure we presented our case most effectively. Knowing everything we had written and would say was true gave me the false impression that testifying would be the easy part. It was not. The defendant and his lawyer had worked hard to prepare a strong response, and I soon understood my good fortune in hiring experienced representation. Nigel’s cross-examination of the responding party, whose credibility he systematically dismantled with a series of considered questions and lucid arguments, ultimately won the case. I recommend Nigel without hesitation. His experience as a criminal defense lawyer and his track record in civil restraining orders speak for themselves.
