  I am so grateful for Sally Mermelstein and everyone at Kantor & Kantor. The long-term disability process is not for the faint of heart, and I genuinely don’t believe I could have successfully navigated it without their expertise. They took care of everything during the early stages of my claim and continued to advocate for me even after my approval, helping to resolve several unexpected wrinkles along the way. Sally always projected a calm confidence that significantly reduced my stress. She consistently seemed to be thinking several steps ahead in the process, anticipating potential pitfalls before they became problems. She and the rest of the team at Kantor & Kantor were responsive, knowledgeable, and compassionate.   My case was complicated. The Kantor & Kantor Team was willing to take it on. They were very thorough and patient with all details and questions. Their response times were in an acceptable time frame. Being willing to meet with all parties involved through Zoom and taking the time to listen to everyone made me see how personal and empathetic this law firm is. They treated everyone involved on both sides with respect and professionalism. Fees were understandable and reasonable. I was never confused through the process and they made sure to keep everything simplified for the rest of the parties involved. I cannot thank them for their patience enough.   After paying into my long-term disability insurance for more than 16 years, I never imagined that Prudential would deny my claim when I became seriously ill with post Lyme disease and needed those benefits most. As an executive in the medical device industry, I was accustomed to handling complicated paperwork and believed I could manage the claim process myself.   Compassionate, Fierce Advocate Who Got Results After years of our insurer denying legitimate claims, we were exhausted and frustrated. She was genuinely caring and compassionate with our family, taking the time to understand what we were going through. She was also collaborative every step of the way, keeping us informed and involving us in decisions. But when it came to dealing with the insurance company, she was tough as nails.
