  My divorce was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. It lasted about two and a half years. For the first year and a half, I had a different attorney who had over 40 years of experience and was a family law specialist. Even with all that experience, My divorce case wasn't going anywhere. There were continuances, court appearances, and before I knew it, my entire $6,500 retainer was gone. Then I hired Eric Symonds, and things finally started moving. He stepped into a difficult situation where my ex wasn’t motivated to end the divorce and immediately started setting deadlines and making sure things kept moving forward. It was obvious he knew what he was doing. He was organized, professional, and always seemed to have a plan. Even though he was basically picking up where another attorney left off, Eric got my divorce back on track. About a year later, the judge signed everything, and my divorce was finally over. I also want to thank Barbara and Deborah. They made a stressful situation a lot easier to deal with. If you're looking for a family law attorney who knows what he's doing and actually moves your case forward, I would definitely recommend Eric Symonds and his team.
