  I can empathize with the fact that they may hear a lot of cases everyday, but that becomes inexcusable when the advocate is willing to send you documentary evidence of bad faith (adjsuter admits first inspection omitted several major items and added them only after weeks of disputing against contractor that they were not damages. Ironic because the items in dispute were already removed and visibly were not present during adjsuters late inspection, yet he still managed to not realize it until a second insoection done by another adjuster corroborated this. Only then were these items added— while still refusing to inspect for the hidden damages contractor warned about on his original estimate which included damaged vanity that was not included in the adjsuters estimate because they minimized scope of damage entirely basing everything on predemolition inspection). When someone tells you they have voicemail transcripts of same adjuster who 3 months ago denies coverage yet is now saying they want to have settlements talks “off the record” but only if the claimant signs a waiver BEFORE talks begin and then when she refuses secrecy and demands everything remains on the record, the very next day they deny her claim as a result—and you as a lawyer are offered the opportunity to look at all this evidence at your convenience without the time constraint, and you refuse, you have OFFICIALLY lost any credibility as a lawyer and may as well have become a defense attorney instead. I don’t have any negative sentiment towards the gentlemen I spoke with over the phone, but everything about the conversation would leaves any reasonable person wondering if this law-firm has been paid to discourage these types of claims from moving forward by the very mega corporations who have recognized just how much liability they may have on their hands should this case end up in a California court room.   Scott is a riot. He's not here to give you the warm and fuzzies or a gimmicky sales pitch, he's here to tell you like it is, no BS. Have to be honest, I almost hung up on him at first, but I'm very pleased I didn't. He is a wealth of knowledge and experience and seems to genuinely care for people's success. Spent over 20 minutes of his time educating me about a property/easement issue. Great guy!
