  After the heartbreaking murder of our son in 2023, my wife and I contacted Triumph Law to see whether there was any possibility of pursuing a civil wrongful-death case. After researching law firms, reviews and client testimonials, we decided on Triumph Law. From our first visit to their office, we were treated with compassion and respect. Pedro, who handled our intake, was warm, sympathetic and patient while asking us about an extremely difficult situation. A few days later, we spoke with attorney Robert Carichoff. From the beginning, we liked Robert's approach. He was sympathetic but very straightforward—no fluff, no unrealistic promises. He explained that there wasn't much he could do until the criminal proceedings were completed and warned us that the process could be slow. When the criminal charges were eventually dropped in 2024, my wife and I pretty much assumed the civil case was over as well and moved on. Then, nearly three years after we first contacted Triumph Law, Robert called us in June 2026. He hadn't forgotten about our family or the case. Robert told us he was going to pursue a wrongful-death claim against the homeowner's insurance company. Over the next several weeks, he kept us informed, responded quickly to our questions and worked diligently to obtain the homicide report and other information needed to pursue the claim. The insurance company initially made an offer that Robert believed did not fairly reflect the case. He rejected it. A few weeks later, Robert called with news that absolutely stunned us: he had secured a settlement far beyond anything we had expected. No amount of money can make up for the loss of a loved one, but my wife and I will always appreciate the fact that Robert continued fighting for our family when we had long since stopped expecting anything to happen. Robert Carichoff is smart, savvy, honest, responsive and dedicated. He never promised us something he couldn't deliver. He simply did his job extremely well and produced a result we never expected. We would recommend Robert and Triumph Law without hesitation. If we ever need an attorney again, Robert will be one of our first calls.
