  Unresponsive and subpar work ethic . After our initial consultation, I was told to email some documents. I was told a price . For over a week, I emailed and called asking how to remit payment .That should have been a red flag - begging someone to take my money. After paying and explaining the circumstances- radio silence . I emailed and called for weeks in regard to this matter . Eventually, one of the parties involved passed away and we could not proceed with the matter because we did not have the prepared document by the attorney to get the now deceased person’s signature. . A week after their passing , the attorney suddenly calls in response to me calling again as a follow up. She then checks and sees all the emails and follow ups etc. she did apologize and refund me the fee I paid but now because of her lack of work and unresponsiveness, I have to spend several thousand dollars to get this matter resolved through probate. This angers me because this could have been avoided had she done her part and communicated effectively .

  She has a heart for the people, listened to my son after his accident, understood our needs to be compensated for our pain. She Worked professionally and quickly for her clients.

  Small firm, but the legal assistant has attitude issues in my opinion. Atty Lewis is a good bankruptcy lawyer but not the best. She needs to update herself on the new amendments like her male counterparts. I hate to post such negative reviews because she is an African American in the south but bad service and not knowing is not an excuse. I would not recommend her for bankruptcy.

  Extremely disappointing experience. My mom was looking for assistance regarding fraud on her bankruptcy case. She wasn't able to explain fully, why she was seeking counseling without being shut down after 5 minutes. When it comes to FREE CONSULTATION , you get what you pay for. During the consultation my mom was interrupted twice by someone walking in and out of the office, followed by Attorney Lewis taking a phone call that seemed to be worked related, but after 5 minutes the convo turned into complete gossip. Attorney Lewis mention to the person on the other end of the phone that she laughed at another council because she had to assure him she became an attorney for money, and Justice can take a back seat. After the LONG phone call attorney Lewis said we had to hurry up because she needed to leave. My mom was completely discouraged and even wanted to give up. Fortunately, that only last for a second. I would not recommend this attorney to anyone.
