I was very unhappy with this lawfirm. They would not return phone calls. They would not provide any guidance. My Bankruptcy was handled poorly and I am paying the consequences for this lawfirms poor handling of my case. I do not recommend!!!!

I visited with Mr Lively a couple of months ago reference to a real estate transaction I had previously entered into. Mr Lively told me up front that my situation was not one he was really knowledgeable in; however, he mentioned something that had never been mentioned by the four or five lawyers I had previously contacted. That “slight “ mention ended up saving me over $250,000 and a long court battle. All I can say is that he took the time to listen to this 80 year old lady and really seemed into in what I was saying. Although he was not my first choice for a lawyer, it turned out he was my best choice and I will forever be grateful

Frequently Asked Questions About William H. Lively, Jr. WHL, PLLC

What is the difference between Chap. 7 and Chap. 13 bankruptcy?

Chap. 7 is also referred to as liquidation bankruptcy or a complete bankruptcy, Debtors can discharge many of their debts and must liquidate their nonexempt assets to pay their creditors. Chap. 13 allows debtors to establish a payment plan over the course of three to five years. This prevents them from having to liquidate their assets. Our bankruptcy lawyer can help you determine which chapter you should file when you set up your free initial consultation.
