  I highly recommend Mowery Law Firm! I moved back to my home state of Tennessee after a few months in Texas, and have recently had a custody battle that Mr.Mowery represented me for in Texas. I looked online for a good attorney in the Bowie County area, and spoke to a couple of people but Mr.Mowery was the one that stood out to me with just an initial 5 minute phone call. He was definitely the right choice! Even though we were 600 miles apart, he put so much work into my case (he worked on the weekends as well) so I could keep my baby. I never met him in person until I had to travel back to Texas for the hearing. After meeting him in person, I knew I did right by hiring him. He kept me updated every step of the way and explained any questions i had. He treated me like family. He is very dedicated, knowledgeable, and respectful of everyone. I admire the respect he gave the other side and the way he spoke to them and didnt attack them in a cruel way to make them appear illiterate and dumb like most attorneys do. You can tell Mr.Mowery is an overall genuine, good person that cares about his clients and their families. If you are needing a family attorney in the Texarkana or surrounding area, call him! Howard puts forth the work and is well worth the money spent. I am so grateful that I had him fighting for me in my terribly scary situation. He is a Godsend for sure and I would choose him over and over again!

  Well what can I say? He has been a Godsend to my family. Going through child custody court --- He was with us the whole way. When you live in Tennessee and have custody court in Texas you have to do alot of internet searching and we did and Howard Mowery just seemed to be in our path of searching and I am so thankful he was. When I made the first initial call he was not available then but not long after he called me. I explained the situation had my daughter contact him and he accepted us not just as clients but he treated us like family. He is a smart, intelligent lawyer and he prepared for our day in court. The outcome was GREAT. If anyone needs a lawyer Mowery Law Firm in Texarkana would be the best choice you could ever make. From the time Josh answers the phone and Howard Mowery takes the call..there is such a calm feeling that settles my nerves.   Going through child custody court is stressful, but Mr. Mowery made me feel supported every step of the way. He stepped into a case that, in my opinion, was very chaotic and had just over 30 days to prepare. Despite that, he kept me updated, made sure I always understood what was happening, and approached everything with empathy and understanding—which is extremely comforting when you’re dealing with matters involving a child.
