  My family member was dealing with a felony charge that turned our world upside down. We initially hired a large and well-known defense firm in Collin County but after a very stressful week of flat-out withholding information they had received regarding the charges, being talked down to, and finding out that the attorney we were assigned had never actually worked a case in Grayson County, we decided to look for help elsewhere, which is how we found Bob Jarvis. The difference between our first meeting with the Collin County firm and the first meeting with Bob was night and day. Bob sat with us for almost two hours, carefully taking notes and asking detailed questions as we walked him through everything that happened. He approached my family member’s situation with so much compassion and never once made them feel judged. We walked out of his office feeling hopeful for the first time in weeks. Bob was immediately able to tell us who the judge and prosecutor would be, something that our original attorney insisted we wouldn’t know for a few months. As the former DA of Grayson County, it was very obvious that he knew the ins and out of the GC Courthouse, and that he had personal relationships with the judges and those working at the DA’s office. They say the “wheels of justice turn slowly” and boy do they, especially if your case is ongoing during the holidays. The waiting and wondering was the worse part, but Bob always reached out to give us updates when he got new information regarding my family member’s case and always took our calls to answer questions and reassure us about the process. Bob laid out a plan of action and was able to get the charges completely dismissed in just a couple of months without us ever stepping foot in the courthouse. We are so incredibly thankful for Bob and his wonderful paralegal Lisa—they were an answered prayer and I would 100% recommend them to anyone!!!
