I wish I could give 0 stars! My husband Jesse and I are extremely disappointed with our experience at this firm. We trusted them to handle an important family matter regarding our son, but they failed to follow through and left our case unfinished. Communication was inconsistent, never spoke with or seen the actual lawyer, was given legal advice from the paralegal Carolina (goes by Carol) who didn’t know left from right and we often felt like we were left in the dark about what was happening throughout the case.
Ultimately, we had no choice but to hire another attorney to step in and complete what this firm couldn’t. This caused unnecessary stress, delays, and additional expenses. We Do NOT recommend this firm to anyone looking for reliable and competent representation.
Instead, we highly recommend Leticia Garza Gavito (goes by Letty Gavito). She stepped in, handled our case with professionalism, and delivered the results we needed. If you’re looking for someone reliable and competent, we would strongly suggest going with her INSTEAD of Ruiz & Associates. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE! To make matters worse, they are still trying to bill us despite not completing or even starting the work they were hired to do.

Ruiz’s and associates the best law firm in San Antonio Texas!! Made handling my court issue easy and they made understanding all the court talk easy to understand . They were always on top of communicating with us to let us know what the next step was !! Thank you to you and your wonderful team of experts!!
I had a great experience with this law firm! The head attorney, Mr. Ruiz, truly knows what he’s doing. He gets straight to the point, asks exactly what he needs to understand your situation, and focuses on getting you the best outcome no need for unnecessary back-and-forth background story That’s what really sold me.
His co-worker, Mrs. Blanco, is incredibly respectful and kind. As a woman, I felt very comfortable asking questions and speaking with her whenever I needed. She made the whole process feel easy and welcoming.
This law firm is professional, communicative, reasonable, honest, and respectful. I’m so grateful for their help they’ve made it possible for me to give my son a more comfortable life, which is something he truly deserves.
Thank you, Ruiz Law Firm!
Diane, the paralegal, was absolutely amazing to work with. I was super stressed and anxious the whole time, and I called and emailed her a lot throughout my case. She was always responsive, honest, and realistic with me. Even when it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. She was also very kind and patient, which I really appreciated.
As for the attorney (George C. Ruiz), I didn’t really have much interaction with him outside of mediation. I was told I’d be able to talk to him and ask questions during mediation, but that didn’t really happen because he was on another Zoom court at the same time. There were a few times where the mediator and I were just waiting around for his response, which was frustrating.
I also wanted to meet with him beforehand to go over a game plan, but I was told we’d have time to do that during mediation. Looking back, I definitely think that would’ve helped. During mediation, I felt like I had to really advocate for myself and speak up about what I wanted. I honestly think if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have been happy with the outcome.
In the end, I didn’t get everything I wanted, but I was still okay with how things turned out.
Overall, I would recommend this attorney mainly because of Diane, she was great. I would just say, from my experience, make sure you stay organized, ask questions, and go in as prepared as possible!
