  Lisa gave me excellent advice regarding my case. I was afraid to call any attorney because I felt like doing so would make my family circumstances more real. But let me tell you, even if you have no idea where to start—ESPECIALLY if you have no idea where to start—just call Lisa's office. Lisa knew all the right questions to ask and gave me a step-by-step plan of how to approach my case. She even connected me with other community resources to support my family and me through our situation. After talking with Lisa, I have a much better grasp of how to move forward and I feel confident knowing we are in good hands. Lisa and the other attorneys in her office have decades of experience in family law and it shows from the very first consultation. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

  Where to begin. I am without the proper words to express the level of gratitude we have for Lisa Vance, Alison Wise (Graduate Attorney) and her amazing legal staff: Lauren, Eny, Gabrielle, Lorelle and Sarah . My journey began over 7 years ago suffering through an assembly line-process of high conflict divorce, later followed by a high conflict custody case. My heart goes out to anyone who must suffer through this but more so to the father who just wants time and fairness with his children without constant friction, interruption, and drama. Up until meeting Ms. Vance I walked the proverbial “Green-Mile” of outcomes most fathers face when dealing with matters of custody and divorce. It is difficult to describe the daily loss of hope I experienced in effort untangle myself from false accusations and cunning manipulations from my former wife. My experience prior to meeting Ms. Vance was at best a controlled demolition of my paternal rights, coupled with further costly court interventions that could have been avoided with an aggressive legal advocacy. Despite a multitude of violations made by my ex-wife, I found myself facing an inevitable landscape strewn with bleached corpses of fathers who had to succumb to the assembly-line system before me. It was an “ inevitable” I had been subtlety encouraged to accept supported by comments, “ the system is antiquated and needs updating, the courts will often favor the mothers unless they do something really bad, all depends on what judge you get.” One of my now routine home rants connected with my step-daughter’s lawyer friend who suggested Ms. Lisa Vance as the only family attorney he would trust in San Antonio. My initial meeting with Ms. Vance immediately instilled a high level of confidence in an individual who is anything but assembly-line or cookie cutter. Her office-setting matches her persona; warm, inviting, casual, friendly, and genuine. Nearly every inch of wall space is adorned with accolades and accreditations reflecting years of experience that speaks volumes of her demonstrated ability. Ms. Vance, “ Please call me Lisa”, is surrounded by an office team that interacts and works together much a close family should. In my 7 years of this headache, this was the oasis feeling I was looking for. I was simply tired of worrying about this case. Lisa listened to every aspect of this case and offered new approaches, insight and a finesse that commanded immediate respect and attention to my case. She took time to catch up on years of case details and documents, offering fresh insight and a new offensive method of approach. My trial took approx 4 long days in court and Lisa was prepared for every possible turn. Lisa did an amazing job respectfully dismantling and discrediting false narratives with facts while simultaneously bringing to light my concerns and my capabilities as a father. I feel the verdict was fair to both sides. I just wanted fair. I just wanted to be heard. I gained so much more than I had ever imagined. My daughters are very happy with the outcome. This was a life- experience I never wish to experience again, but if you must go down this road I strongly suggest Ms. Lisa Vance and her team. I admit, I spent more money and more time, trying to save on money and time. I wasted both in the process. Mrs. Vance’s retainer and fees parallels her value. You get what you pay for. In a high-conflict case, I suggest starting with demonstrated experience and skill.

  If I could put 0 stars I would. They drop your case in a heart beat, if you choose a your own path. All they want is money and they disappear. They don’t answer for weeks, maybe months if your case is “concerning” or high priority to them. They don’t care about your happiness or what you want. They told me to sign documents, and a month later, when I asked to retract said documents and agreements they refused after, we poured money into their pockets. They might kind of know what they are doing, but definitely not worth the money, if I could go back and time and choose different lawyers from the start I would. That is all thank you.
