  Daryl was my Attorney in a ~3-yr. long Divorce procedure, with 3 minor children, a foreign prenuptial agreement, international assets, an Appeal and a final settlement negotiation. What I liked - Daryl is obviously smart, skilled, experienced and respected - Daryl knows when to seek advice / help when necessary - Daryl is expensive but always attended hearings alone (whereas others can be a traveling circus, at your own expense) What was less obvious - Daryl and staff will care more if/once they start liking you - Daryl would not always brief me before Hearings - Daryl's relationship to the opposite Attorney matters (we faced 4), which sometimes made things harder to read on my side It's a 5-star review. I genuinely believe Daryl is one of the best Family Law Attorneys in Travis County. Recommended!

  Jason and his team were great to work with. My situation was not great and they handled it flawlessly. They were very involved and guided me through the entire ordeal. Jason always made himself available to me whenever I had questions or concerns. Divorce absolutely sucks, but they made a terrible situation tolerable, considering the circumstances.   I had a very strong child custody case I approached Daryl Weinman with and needed help putting it together into a legal format. "Very strong" were her words. By no means did she guarantee a win, but we were almost certain when we read through police records together. We had successfully, obtained a temporary restraining order against the child's mother because of her behavior. My son was in my custody. Only the trial to go! I accomplished the busywork, open records acquisition (collect calls from jail, police records, etc) and overall organization (call transcription, outline of the case) myself. I simply needed help with the witnesses & subpeonas - and her legal experience to present the case before a judge. At the trial, we had the good guys, two police officers and the bad guys all there as witnesses to take stand on our behalf. What I did not know - what Daryl Weinman disclosed just before the trial started, was that she would be leaving halfway through to catch a flight to meet her son. This trial was about custody of MY son. When she was ready to leave, only half the witnesses had taken the stand, Judge Gus Strauss stated: “Ms Weinman, I just do not understand why you would do this to yourselves today. Your leaving early puts a time constraint on this case that didn’t have to be.” When the dust settled, and I lost... she stuck me with a $14,000 bill It doesn't end there - After the ruling, she told me, I was wrong for wanting more, that this was only the beginning and it would be tens of thousands more to win this. When I asked that she perform some sort of damage recovery, she quit.. The end! That's it! I'm now broke with nothing to show for it. I'm still 50/50 custody and my child is at the mercy of a crazy, gun chasing ex-wife and her crystal meth-head boyfriend and their escapades with my son. Only in Travis County - and only with Daryl Weinman! Note - I bought her domain name and built a website as a public service announcement and wiki to collaborate with others with similar experiences.
