I waited over a year to write this review. If you want someone to answer your calls and answer your emails pick someone else if you want somebody to explain to you what exactly is going on pick someone else. This was the absolute worst money I had ever spent completely worthless everyone up there has no idea what Is going on in someone’s in head when times get tough. If you need someone to give you options and suggestions pick someone else…Highly suggest anyone else I wouldn’t trust these people to watch my pet goldfish overnight.

I had a very disappointing experience with Katy during my divorce case, which involved custody of my children. From the very beginning, she was unprofessional and unsympathetic. Whenever I scheduled a meeting with her to discuss questions or concerns about the case, I left feeling more confused and hopeless than when I arrived. At our first temporary hearing, she referred to me as her “problem child” which was completely inappropriate and hurtful during an already emotional time. When I confronted her about it she said, “I meant being my biggest case”.
Katy frequently spoke negatively about other clients and even her own staff in front of me, which raised serious concerns about her professionalism and discretion. The most shocking was when she showed up to a scheduled Zoom mediation wearing a night robe—an unacceptable and disrespectful display of unprofessionalism.
She constantly talked down to me and made me feel like a transaction, not a valued client. If you’re hoping she’ll fight for what is right and just—which is the very reason most people hire an attorney—you’ll be disappointed. She’s not the “shark in shallow water” that others claim she is. She does the bare minimum, and if you ask her to go above that, it’s either “impossible” or you’re told you’re asking too much. Despite this, she continued to send invoices to replenish my retainer—two in total—without delivering results or showing basic respect. I ultimately made the decision to fire her when the third one was sent, I simply couldn’t justify paying another penny to be disrespected and unsupported.

Katy fought an aggressive fight for me and my daughter, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I really appreciate that she is a mother herself—she has the heart and strength of a lion when it comes to protecting families. She was fierce, determined, and truly cared about the outcome of my case. I highly recommend her to anyone who needs someone who will fight with passion and dedication.
